Our passion isn’t just about building trucks that look good, it’s about building trucks that get used. We enjoy modifying big trucks, pushing them to their limits, getting them dirty, towing heavy, and driving them the way they were meant to be driven. QR Off-Road shares DNA with our sister company, Quinten Racing, a brand known for specializing in C8 Corvette performance parts. While Quinten Racing focuses on precision performance for sports cars, QR Off-Road brings that same engineering mindset and attention to detail to the off-road world.
At our core, we share a passion for modified vehicles of every kind. Whether it’s a lifted diesel, a prerunner, or a track-built Corvette, we believe in building vehicles that reflect personality, performance, and purpose.
My Story
My passion for modified vehicles started long before I could legally drive. Growing up, I was fascinated by cars and trucks; how they worked, how they could be improved, and how small changes could completely transform their performance and personality.
In high school, I took auto shop and immersed myself in learning everything I could. That passion earned me a scholarship to a technical school focused on high-performance automotive.
Right before graduation, I made a pivotal decision: instead of only working on vehicles, I wanted to engineer them.
I got my engineering degree and spent the next 10 years as a chassis engineer specializing in automotive suspension, wheels, and brakes. A lot of my focus centered around truck platforms. I designed suspension systems and wheels for both OE manufacturers and aftermarket truck applications, developing products built to handle real-world abuse, heavy loads, and demanding conditions. Those years gave me hands-on experience in what truly works, not just what looks good on paper.
During my time in automotive engineering, I founded Quinten Racing, focusing on performance parts for the C8 Corvette. Building that company taught me invaluable lessons about business, product development, and serving a passionate enthusiast community.
QR Off-Road represents the natural evolution of my experience: combining a decade of chassis engineering expertise in truck suspension and wheel design with a lifelong enthusiasm for building vehicles that are meant to be driven hard and used to their fullest.
